Day 1: Rishikesh to Pipalkoti

The trek begins with a scenic drive from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti, a quaint town nestled in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. The journey takes you through the beautiful landscapes of the Ganga River and the foothills of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, you can rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Pipalkoti to Govindghat - Pulna and Trek to Ghangaria

On Day 2, you will drive from Pipalkoti to Govindghat. From here, embark on a thrilling trek to Ghangaria, the base camp for the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. The trek takes you through lush forests, charming riversides, and picturesque landscapes, providing a glimpse of the natural beauty that awaits.

Day 3: Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers and back to Ghangaria

Day 3 is the highlight of the Valley of Flowers Trek. After an early breakfast, you will start your trek to the Valley of Flowers, one of the most stunning high-altitude meadows in the world. The valley, blanketed with vibrant wildflowers, offers a sight that is beyond description. Explore this UNESCO-listed wonder and return to Ghangaria by evening.

Day 4: Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back to Ghangaria

On Day 4, trek to Hemkund Sahib, one of the holiest Sikh shrines located at an altitude of 4,329 meters. Surrounded by snow-clad mountains and pristine glaciers, this sacred place is a spiritual haven. After soaking in the tranquility, trek back to Ghangaria for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Ghangaria to Govindghat and Drive to Pipalkoti

On the final day, descend from Ghangaria to Govindghat, where you will be driven back to Pipalkoti. The journey from Ghangaria is equally scenic, with stunning views of the valleys and mountains. If you’re interested in a visit to the Badrinath Temple, you can make an optional detour before concluding your trek.

Accommodation

  • Hot water is available at select camps; in some cases, water will be provided in buckets if hot water is not available.
  • Standard check-in time at camps is at 2:00 PM, with check-out typically by 12:00 PM the following day.
Trekking
  • The Valley of Flowers Trek includes moderate to challenging trails with significant altitude gain, so trekkers should be prepared for steep climbs and descents.
  • Consult a doctor before the trek if you have any medical concerns, as the trail involves high-altitude trekking with challenging conditions.
  • Ensure you are well-prepared physically for the trek, as it includes long days of walking in remote and rugged terrain.
Clothing
  • In May-June, temperatures can range from 15°C during the day to -5°C at night; dressing in layers is recommended for comfort and warmth.
  • From August to November, temperatures may drop to -15°C, especially at higher altitudes, so warm clothing, including a thermal jacket, gloves, and hats, is essential.
  • Good quality trekking shoes, warm layers, and waterproof gear are important due to the potential for rain, snow, or sudden weather changes during the trek.
Payment Policy
  • A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking for the Valley of Flowers Trek.
  • 50% of the total cost is due 40 days before the trek starts.
  • 75% of the total cost must be paid 8-12 days before departure.
  • Full payment is required 7 days or less before the trek commences.
Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations made 30 days prior to the trek: 30% of the total amount will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made 20 days prior to the trek: 50% of the total amount will be refunded.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 10 days before the trek departure.
