Day 1: Arrival in Sankri – Gateway to the Best Bali Pass Trek

Your Bali Pass Trek begins with your arrival in Sankri, a picturesque village at 1920 meters. Sankri is the perfect starting point for the best Himalayan treks, including the Bali Pass Trek. From Dehradun, it’s an 8-9 hour scenic drive to Sankri, where you’ll relax and prepare for the days ahead. This village, surrounded by the beauty of the Garhwal Himalayas, will allow you to acclimatize to the altitude before your trek begins.

Day 2: Sankri (1920m) to Taluka (2107m) to Seema (2560m)

On Day 2, you'll drive from Sankri to Taluka (2107m) and then embark on your first day of trekking to Seema (2560m). The trek is relatively easy, allowing you to gradually adjust to higher altitudes. As you walk through lush forests of oak and pine, enjoy views of the Bali Pass trek route stretching ahead. Seema is a perfect camping site with a calm atmosphere, where you can rest after your first day of hiking.

Day 3: Seema Camp (2560m) to Rainbasera (3086m) – A Beautiful Himalayan Journey

On Day 3, you’ll trek from Seema to Rainbasera, located at 3086 meters. This stretch takes you through meadows and thick forests, offering a top-notch opportunity to witness wildlife and birdlife. The landscape transitions as you ascend, revealing Bali Pass Trek's rugged beauty. Day 4: Rainbasera (3086m) to Ruinsara Tal (3565m) – The Best Himalayan Campsite

On Day 4, your trek continues from Rainbasera to Ruinsara Tal at an altitude of 3565 meters. This is one of the best Himalayan campsites, surrounded by alpine meadows and snow-covered peaks. The Ruinsara Tal lake is nestled between towering mountains, offering incredible views of peaks like Kalanag (Black Peak). This serene and isolated spot is perfect for relaxation and acclimatization, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Bali Pass trek.

Day 5: Ruinsara Tal (3565m) to Odari (4008m) – Challenging Ascent

On Day 5, you’ll ascend from Ruinsara Tal to Odari, located at 4008 meters. This day is more physically demanding, with steeper climbs and thinner air as you approach higher altitudes. The route takes you through challenging terrain, offering breathtaking views of the Bali Pass trek route and surrounding snow-covered peaks. Day 6: Odari (4008m) to Base Camp (4678m) – Reaching the Heart of Bali Pass Trek

Day 8: Lower Dhamni (3415m) to Jaan ki Chatti (2650m) via Yamunotri & Drive to Dehradun

On Day 8, you’ll descend further to Jaan ki Chatti (2650m), passing through the sacred Yamunotri Temple, which is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. This day offers a perfect blend of adventure and spirituality, as you visit one of Uttarakhand’s most revered pilgrimage sites. After exploring Yamunotri, you will drive back to Dehradun, marking the end of the Bali Pass Trek. The drive takes you through charming villages and offers a relaxing end to your journey.

Day 9: Departure from Dehradun – Memories of a Top-Notch Trek

Clothing
  • In May-June, temperatures can range from 15°C during the day to -5°C at night; dressing in layers is recommended for comfort and warmth.
  • From August to November, temperatures may drop to -15°C, especially at higher altitudes, so warm clothing, including a thermal jacket, gloves, and hats, is essential.
  • Good quality trekking shoes, warm layers, and waterproof gear are important due to the potential for rain and snow on the Bali Pass route.
Payment Policy
  • A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking for the Bali Pass Trek.
  • 50% of the total cost is due 40 days before the trek starts.
  • 75% of the total cost must be paid 8-12 days before departure.
  • Full payment is required 7 days or less before the trek commences.
Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations made 30 days prior to the trek: 30% of the total amount will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made 20 days prior to the trek: 50% of the total amount will be refunded.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 10 days before the trek departure.
