Day 01-Dehradun to Gangotri (3,415M)

Arrive at Gangotri, a sacred town situated along the banks of the Bhagirathi River. This is the starting point for your Gomukh glacier trek to Tapovan. Spend time exploring the beautiful surroundings, visit the famous Gangotri Temple, and acclimatize to the altitude, making it an ideal location for Himalayan trekking.

Day 02-Gangotri (3,415M) to Chirbasa (3,600M)

Begin your trek towards Chirbasa, enjoying stunning views of the mountains and valleys. The trail passes through lush forests and offers glimpses of the majestic peaks, making this part of the trek an unforgettable experience. Chirbasa, located near the tree line, is a picturesque camping spot where you can rest for the night and enjoy the beauty of Uttarakhand trekking.

Day 03-Chirbasa (3,600M) to Bhojwasa (3,830M)

Continue your ascent to Bhojwasa, a serene location known for its stunning scenery and views of Bhagirathi peaks. The trek is moderately challenging but rewarding, as you navigate rocky terrain and alpine meadows. Bhojwasa is a great place to set up camp and enjoy the tranquil environment, perfect for anyone looking to experience the beauty of high-altitude trekking.

Day 04-Bhojwasa (3,775M) to Tapovan (4,460M) via Gomukh (4,025M)

This is a highlight of your trek. Head towards Gomukh, the snout of the Gangotri Glacier, where you can see the origin of the River Ganga. After a brief stop, continue to Tapovan, a high-altitude meadow surrounded by stunning mountain vistas. It’s a perfect spot for exploring and acclimatizing, making it a must-visit for all adventure seekers.

Day 05-Tapovan (4,460M) to Bhojwasa (3,775M)

After soaking in the breathtaking views of Tapovan, begin your descent back to Bhojwasa. The journey down allows you to appreciate the beauty of the landscape from a different perspective. Set up camp in Bhojwasa, where you can reflect on the experiences of the previous days and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the Himalayan trails.

Day 06-Bhojwasa (3,775M) to Gangotri (3,415M)

Make your way back to Gangotri, retracing your steps through the enchanting trails. This day provides another chance to take in the beauty of the surroundings and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Once back in Gangotri, you can relax and savor the completion of your trek, feeling accomplished after an incredible Ganges origin trek.

Day 07-Gangotri (3,415M) to Dehradun (640M)

Depart from Gangotri and head back to Dehradun. The journey down will take you through beautiful landscapes, with the transition from high altitude to lower elevations. Arriving in Dehradun marks the end of your trekking adventure, where you can unwind and reflect on your experiences in the Himalayan trekking landscape.

Transport
  • Latest vehicles (1-2 years old) will be provided for transfers.
  • Experienced hill drivers will ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
  • Pilgrim vehicles are not allowed to operate after 8 PM as per state law.

  • 75% of the package cost is due 8-12 days before departure.
  • 100% of the package cost is required 7 days or less before departure.
Cancellation Policy
  • 30 days before the trek: 30% of the amount will be refunded.
  • 20 days before the trek: 50% of the amount will be refunded.
  • Less than 10 days before the trek: No refund will be issued.
